BigRamPlus is a 256 MB RAM memory expansion for any Amiga with Zorro-III slot, i.e. Amiga 3000, 3000T, 4000 and 4000T. BigRamPlus is guaranteed to work only with original bus cards from these computers. It may not work or may not work properly with third-party bus cards made by Micronik, RBM, Eagle, Elbox, etc. The memory is used automatically by all operating systems up to OS3.9. Linux/BSD may need special patches to use this memory. AmigaOS 4.0 does not allow the use of a Z3 memory card, the computer will not even boot into the operating system. AmigaOS 4.1 can use the card's memory as swap memory.
