It is used to transform a classic IDE PATA controller into two SATA ports and definitively eliminate the annoying IDE cables, it can be installed on all IDE controllers starting from those present in the Amiga 4000 to those of the Vampire accelerator cards etc.. This little card solves many known problems in one step:

     allows you to reduce the clutter of internal cables by eliminating the IDE cable
     allows you to connect any SATA hard disk, both mechanical and SSD, without any problem, reducing electrical consumption, noise and increasing performance
     allows you to connect modern SATA burners, even ultra slim ones, for notebooks, therefore smaller dimensions and improved performance
     It is perfect for converting Amiga 2/3 and 4000 controllers to SATA
     It is totally transparent to the system therefore it requires no software and allows HDToolBox to manage even the most recent solid state hard drives without problems.
