Network cables for every need, from patch connections inside rack cabinets to network cabling in home or business premises.

How to recognise the type of Ethernet cable:
The first basic identifying element of a cable is its category of belonging, usually indicated with an abbreviated abbreviation of type CAT-5E or CAT-6 etc.. The category is the actual indicator of the cable's performance that will go up as the category idice rises. CAT-6 cables are more efficient than CAT-5E cables, which in turn are more efficient than CAT-5E cables. Currently the most commonly used categories of cables are the following:

CAT-5 allows data transmission up to 100 megabits in general.
CAT-5E allows data transmission of up to 1000 megabits in general
CAT-6 allows you to transmit data typically up to 10 gigabits
CAT-6A allows you to transmit data typically up to 10 Gigabit
CAT-7 allows data transmission typically of up to 10 gigabits
CAT-8 allows you to transmit data typically up to 100 gigabits

The second characteristic element of an ethrnet cable is its shielding and whether it is present or not:
U/UTP: These are unshielded cables (neither as a whole nor as regards individual pairs).
F/UTP: Overall shielded cable with tape wrapping the four pairs.
U/FTP: Identifies an Ethernet cable by shielding the individual pairs.
F or S/FTP: This is a shielded cable both as a whole and with taping of the individual pairs.
SF/FTP: Double shielded cable with braid and tape with the individual pairs individually taped.
